Dave Shanahan BSc., started his career in pharmaceutical sales and was promoted to senior international positions in Zeneca, Pfizer and AbbVie over a 25 year career. He has been a company founder and senior leader in Healthcare Service Providers and Digital Health in Ireland. He was Global Head of Ireland’s life Sciences Investment and Development Agency (IDA) between 2009-2012. Dave led his team in successfully winning extensive mobile capital investments and company location to Ireland from Pharmaceuticals, Medtech and Healthcare Service Industries globally.
In addition to Treo, Dave works as a non-executive Director of Longboat Clinical, Partnerships Director HealthBeacon and Board Member of Enterprise Ireland, the national agency for Irish company formation and scaling. He also chairs Healthcare Innovation Hub Ireland (HIHI), government’s national centre catalysing industry-health collaboration. Dave also holds post-graduate qualifications in computing and Business from University College Cork and Trinity College Dublin.
