Tracy brings over two decades of senior operational, finance, venture capital, and investment experience across the medical device and technology industries.
Tracy currently serves on the boards of Avivomed, Inc. and Noctrix Health, Inc. and is a board observer at Neuspera Medical, Inc. and ShiraTronics, Inc.
Previously, Tracy was the CFO of Synergy Life Science Partners, an early-stage medical device venture capital firm. As an integral part of the investment team, Tracy helped negotiate over 20 financings ranging from $5M to $50M that led to investments totaling over $100M in companies including Inspire Medical, iRhythmTechnologies, Aptus Endosystems, and TransEnterix.
Most recently, Tracy was the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer with Partners for Growth. In this role, Tracy led the financial, compliance and administrative functions of the firm which included six credit funds with more than $600M in AUM.
Prior to Partners for Growth, Tracy was the Chief Financial Officer of Aptus Endosystems, Inc., a cardiovascular medical device company that was acquired by Medtronic. As a member of the Executive Management team, Tracy partnered with senior management teams across R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, Manufacturing and global Sales & Marketing functions to build and manage all operational and financial aspects of the business across multiple stages. Tracy was a key member of the team that led Aptus’ M&A efforts, resulting in the successful acquisition of the company by Medtronic.
Earlier in her career, Tracy held Chief Financial Officer roles at Scale Venture Partners and Saints Capital, and held senior finance and operating roles at technology start-ups. Tracy started her career at KPMG.
Tracy earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).
